Official documents:

Duties of officers and directors:

DIRECTORS:
Rainbow Cyclists has a five-member Board of Directors. The Board is responsible for the corporate oversight of Rainbow Cyclists. The Board members rarely need to spend more than one hour a month.
OFFICERS:
The Board appoints Club officers. Often Officers are also Directors, but any Club member can be an officer. One person can hold two or more offices, except that the President and Secretary must be two different people. Offices are described below:
President:
The club's chief executive officer. Presides at meetings of the membership and Board of Directors.
Secretary:
Keeps minutes of meetings. Files official papers. Maintains the membership and mailing list.
Treasurer:
Handles receipts and disbursements and files financial reports.
On-Road Ride Coordinator:
Collects rides from road ride leaders.
Offroad Ride Coordinator:
Collects rides from offroad ride leaders.
Newsletter Editor:
Takes a few hours every other month. Edits and publishes the newsletter.
Webmaster (Webmistress):
Maintains our website using input from the ride coordinators, Newsletter Editor and club members. Takes about four hours per month.
SDCBC Representative:
Represents Rainbow Cyclists at the San Diego County Bicycle Coalition meetings once a month. Each meeting lasts approximately three hours.
Bike Corral Coordinator:
We all know the Bike Corral at San Diego Pride 2004 was a great success. But the corral doesn't happen by itself. We need someone to work with San Diego Pride to set up the corral. Just a few phone calls now. A few hours a month in June and July. OK, you'll probably be very busy on Pride weekend.
